LOEB'S, INC. is a family owned and operated clothing store company established in 1887 in Meridian, Mississippi. Our store is located in downtown Meridian, MS on 2209 Front Street.

Our Mission is to provide store visitors with a top-tier customer service experience and high-quality apparel, footwear, accessories, active lifestyle gear, and travel gear. We are a local business and our duty has always been to make positive contributions to the local community.

The Loeb family has a long-standing history in the retail industry that began in 1867 when Simon and Julius Loeb, Bavarian immigrants arrived in the United States and founded Simon Loeb & Brothers in Columbus, Mississippi.

In 1887, Alex Loeb their brother, another Bavarian immigrant joined the company and founded his own clothing company in 1887. Alex Loeb, Inc in Meridian, Mississippi. The company evolved into a department store in the early 1900s and by the 1950s it had become a landmark in Meridian with the new flagship store known for its luxurious décor and wide selection of merchandise, including high-end fashion and fine jewelry. Over the years, Loeb's expanded opening several other locations in Mississippi and increasing its selection of merchandise. 

Today, Loeb's, Inc., established in 1987, by Robert S. Loeb, Jr. is still family-owned and operated by Robert S. Loeb, Jr. the great-grandson of Alex Loeb. The company operates a single location in downtown Meridian, Mississippi, that continues to offer a wide selection of merchandise, including clothing, home goods, and travel equipment. Loeb's is a testament to the Loeb family's entrepreneurial spirit and their commitment to providing quality products and exceptional customer service throughout the decades.
